CBS Morning Show logo

CBS is trying to choose a logo for it’s morning show “Money issue”.
C&G (ex Chermayeff & Geismar) design firm took the responsibility to accomplish this task in only three days, meaning that they didn’t go through the usual research and preparation stages. Here are the results. Three of them, one to choose. NONE, from my point of view.

Paula Scher – graphic designer – “Type is Image”

Paula Scher studied at the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and began her graphic design career as a record cover art director at both Atlantic and CBS Records in the 1970s. From 1984, she co-founded and ran Koppel & Scher in New York for seven years, then joined Pentagram as a principal in 1991.

Watch a short movie about a great designer talking about his work. It is worth it! Believe me! (again, be patient if u have a slow connection. u need Quiktime to be able to see it).
